I’ve not posted in a while and that makes me feel guilty. Also I should really be studying right now so I’m procrastinating by doing something other than the thing I really should be doing. I’m studying (or should be) for my Prince 2 Practitioner course (project management training) which I am sitting at the end of February. Its a 2 day course followed by the exam at the end.
What else has been going on? Well I’ve been trying to get pBloggers back off the ground again after neglecting it rather a lot. Laura from Max & Mummy and I have been chatting with some other bloggers about getting some help with the whole thing (its rather too much work for just the two of us).
Weight loss – I gave up Weight Watchers and am doing My Fitness Pal again but this time I seem to have cracked it. I’m keeping to 1300 calories a day and exercising – at Nuffield Health Farnham and so far I’ve lost 8 lbs. I’m very pleased. I JUST today got under 14 stone. Which is quite an achievement as I’ve been struggling to get below that number for quite a while.
Work is still going well. Busy, which is good. No concrete news yet as to whether I will get a permanent job out of it. I’ll just have to sit tight and wait and see.
Everyone else is good. Ben is doing his 5-2 diet (500 calories on 2 days of the week and the rest of the time he just tries to eat healthily but has no limits really on calories) – and that seems to be going well. He ways less than me, lets just put it that way! Grrrr. 🙂 Bella is still the best au-pair in the world. I don’t know how she does it. The kids run her ragged sometimes. Little bastards! Ross (Bella’s boyfriend – lives with us) has an umbillical hernia which he has an appointment at the hospital to sort out. Joshua has started swimming lessons. And Lala wants to take ballet lessons!
Well that’s all from me for now. I DEFINITELY need to study tomorrow night after my Bums Tums and Thighs class!
