Random Acts of Kindness – One4all Gift Cards

I have been asked to write this post in conjunction with One4all Gift Cards. I was sent one £25 gift card for myself and one to gift to a friend.

The One4all Gift Card can be spent in over 50,000 outlets nationwide including leading high street favourites such as Marks and Spencer, John Lewis, Primark, Amazon and Argos to name a few. The recipient can enjoy spending her gift card on a one off piece of jewellery from fine jewellers such as Links of London, F.Hinds, Beaverbrooks and H.Samuel or update her wardrobe with some key fashion pieces from House of Fraser, Warehouse or Wallis. Alternatively they can treat themselves to a long weekend with a trip away from a range of travel providers including Cities Direct, Virgin Holidays, Thomas Cook and Thompson or maybe go long haul with Kuoni. One4all Gift Cards also offer a variety of experiences from relaxing spa treatments with Spa Seekers and Spa Finder, to once in a lifetime experiences such as flying lessons or skydiving with Virgin Experience Days. What’s more, the One4all Gift Card can be personalised with a loving message and favourite photograph. The One4all Gift Card and personalisation service is available to buy online at www.one4allgiftcard.co.uk. Gift cards can be loaded with anything from £10 to £400 and can be spent in more than 50,000 outlets across the UK.

Here is where it can be spent.

So who have I chosen to give my £25 gift voucher to? Well, it didn’t take much deciding really. I’m off on holiday on Saturday, with 3 girlfriends. This is a big deal for me as I have never had a girlie holiday before. It’s also a big deal because it is my 40th birthday while we are out there. I booked the holiday before I lost my job but had already paid for most of it. And I’m so looking forward to it.

One of my friends who is going on the holiday also shares my birthday and so far I had not had the money to buy her a present. So I decided that she should get this gift card. But not just because it is her birthday. Because she is a wonderful friend. She split up with her husband about a year after I split up with mine and this has brought us much closer. We spend at least one evening every couple of weeks drinking wine and watching a movie – I love our movie nights. We laugh and watch movies that we would never have watched with our exes – things like Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and The Slipper and the Rose and Lost Boys. She has paid for countless takeaways on our nights in together. She just really looks after me. She has my back. We text when I feel lost and like I’m failing at life. She lifts me up. I feel so grateful to have a friend like her.

So she more than deserves this little treat. I know I haven’t paid for it – it was given to me in exchange for writing this post. But if anyone deserves a treat, it is her. I hope she spends it on something that will make her feel good.

Thank you Eva, for being a great friend.

Please comment so I know I'm not alone out here!
