My goals and my WHY

I have a little secret which I’m not quite ready to tell you yet. But I’ve been watching a training video all about goals and purpose and its brought me to tears and so I thought I would quickly, before I pause it – I’ve still got another half hour to go but I need to go to bed (or maybe I’ll get into bed and carry on watching from there…..) – I thought I would quickly get my thoughts down on paper (ok screen – don’t be pedantic).

So my goals. My main goal since as long as I can remember being in a job that I hated (not saying I hate my job, its not too bad but I’ve always felt like there was something better out there for me) has been to work for myself. To work from home. To work flexibly around everything else in my life – mainly my children though. So here are my goals:

  • To work from home
  • To enjoy what I do
  • To work flexibly
  • To spend more time with the children
  • To enjoy a better lifestyle

My WHY…. Well, that’s the stuff that makes me tick. The things I want out of life. This will be my goal board when I get around to doing it (which will probably be tomorrow on Pinterest)

  • Freedom
  • Time to spend with my kids
  • Not to worry about money
  • To have a nice little house with a garden

Right, that’s enough for tonight. More on this later.

Good night x

Very exciting! Can’t wait to see more x

  2. This sounds like a great video and I’d love to know more about it as I could do with some help as well; although to be honest your goals and whys sound very close to mine so maybe I could just take them 😉

    • Kate, I’m just so fed up of my current lifestyle. I’m hoping I’ve found something that can give me what I’m looking for. Text me if u want to chat about it? 07545808845

Ooh, secrets! It sounds like a completely valid and achievable goal, keep working for it. You can do whatever you can when you put your mind to it. It would be great for you to have that time with the kids, I’m worried about missing Josh when I get back to work. Keep going hun, you can do it!!! xxx
