Friends

The one thing that has kept me going this year has been friends.

natalieI’ve met new friends in the last year. One of which in particular has been my saviour. I don’t know what I’d have done without her – you know who you are! How we have grown so close so quickly I don’t even know – I feel like I’ve known her for years-  but I know I love her to bits and I would do anything for her! I can be myself around her. Sometimes we chat for hours, putting the world to rights, sometimes we just sit drinking coffee feeling no need to talk.

Another friends, who has known me since college, has jumped every time I needed her. Been my safety net at 3am when walking home from a club and was followed by a dodgy guy. Come round when I was feeling down and struggling with the kids. This means so much to me.

Some other friends I don’t get to see as often as I’d like but I know you are there. The supportive messages when you see that I’m down. Some of you, when I do see you we pick up just where we left off, watching Team America and drinking wine! Spending the afternoon chatting and then letting us all kip over! I love you all. You have been fabulous!

I’ve decided to make a concerted effort to spend time with those of you I haven’t seen for a while.

Friendship is priceless.
