Green’s Chocolate Fondant Mix Review

I was recently sent a packet of Green’s Chocolate Fondant Mix to review. See below – the box got a bit battered in transit:

You can see their press release here: Green’s Launches Four Indulgent Easy to Make Desserts Final and here is their full range:

One night I decided that I needed a chocolate fix and as I had the kids I couldn’t go out and get anything and I realised I had this packet of chocolate pudding mix that I needed to use/review. So I got the box and opened it up. Here were the contents:

I emptied the ingredients into a bowl as instructed on the packet:

Apologies for the state of the baking tray! I greased three ramekins (the mixture is supposed to spread between 4 dishes but I found 3 was enough).

Then I mixed up the mixture with 2 eggs:

And filled the ramekins:

And then baked them in the oven for 12 minutes. Here is what they looked like when they came out:

You may have noticed that there were only 2 in the above photo. This is because the first one, I tipped up onto the plate as per the instructions. And this is what it ended up like – not quite like the picture. I don’t know if my oven is not hot enough and I needed to cook them longer. I ate the one in the picture below and gave the other two above to my neighbour and her boyfriend. They liked them very much and gave good feedback. Mine was also delicious even though extremely runny.
