I can’t believe how quickly May has come around and its only 6 weeks and 2 days until Brit Mums Live 2015! I honestly cannot wait. Last year’s was amazing! So here is my info:
Mum in a Hurry
5 foot 8
kind of light brown with blonde highlights. Or blonde. Not sure really
Is this your first blogging conference?
No. This will be my third year at Britmums Live!
Are you attending both days?
What are you most looking forward to at BritMums Live 2015?
All of it! Talking to so many lovely people, learning something new, being inspired…..
What are you wearing?
No idea as yet. Something nice hopefully. Also hope to be a few pounds lighter by then so maybe I’ll fit into something I haven’t fitted into in ages or maybe I’ll even treat myself to a new dress. Unless some lovely brand wants to sponsor me for clothes?????
What do you hope to gain from BritMums Live 2015?
Just to have a fabulous time again, meet some lovely people, learn something new – on monetizing, SEO, that kind of thing.
Do you have any tips to pass on to others who may not have been before?
Just relax. Its really daunting your first time but just go, talk to people – you’ll have a fantastic time.
A little more about me:
I hope its okay, but I thought I’d add a little bit more about me and my situation in case you run into me:
I’m a mum of 2. I recently split with my husband. You can read about that in this post – part one and part two. Then, after only 2 or 3 months of being split up, my ex and I went on a mega road trip across the US doing the old Route 66. The trip was amazing but pretty tiring and confusing spending so much time with my ex who didn’t want me anymore. I’ve had some ups and some downs and after a pretty shit time, things are starting to look up for me. I moved into a new flat in April. I have been dating a bit. I have a new permanent job, which means no more not getting paid for bank holidays, sick days, and time off. And Britmums is just around the corner!!! And I have a sponsor to cover my hotel and some of dinner! Whoop whoop! More on that later.
That’s me. What do you think? Should I wear the hat?
