Recently, a lovely lady from Sainsbury’s contacted me and asked me if my two would like to try out some crafty stuff from Sainsbury’s. I was actually on my way to the airport I think when she contacted me, or it might have been the day before we left, and so, while I didn’t want to miss out on this opportunity, I also had no way of using the stuff and drafting the post until after we got back, and as you may know, the journey home was a bit of a nightmare.
So, finally we got home on the friday evening and the next day seemed the perfect time to open the lovely parcel of free goodies and let the kids loose on them.
I have to admit I was not feeling my best and I spent most of the day on the sofa, but I am exceedingly grateful for the hour or so that the kids were happy and occupied. I even got to watch some grown-up TV as they were doing their art work in the play room/conservatory.
Here is the stuff we were sent:
The pack included:
- Glitter card
- Tissue paper
- Glitter pens
- Glue stick
- set of felt tip pens
- Coloured star stickers
- Star reward stickers
- A pair of scissors
- A pack of sticky foam dinosaurs
Here is a picture of both of them enjoying all the stuff they had to play with:
My son decided to make a page in his scrap book. Here is him getting stuck in:
Here is his final piece:
Lala, being 3 (well, nearly 4 actually), just loved squeezing the glitter glue onto the pieces of glitter card – who can blame her? She loves glitter!!!
