I’m here at the Travelodge City Road. It’s 6.30am and I’m lying here listening to the traffic on the road below.
Last night was really nice. The train journey down was fine. I drank frozen Margueritas and made myself a wire and flowers tiara!
I was nervous about getting through the barrier at Waterloo as I bought the wrong route by accident but it was fine. Then I met Laura from Max & Mummy for the first time. She is lovely also expected. We took the tube to our hotel, then listened to music in our room while drinking margherita mix.
Then we headed out for pizza: there is a great little Italian place across the road which was also pretty reasonable price-wise.
I’m feeling a little dehydrated. I didn’t sleep well. Probably partly due to my alcohol consumption and partly due to the noise. The room is very stuffy with no air conditioning and so we have to keep the window open and I’m not used to so much noise!!! I really couldn’t live in London!!!
I’m so excited about Britmums later. I have planned out my time for this morning so that I know what I’m doing and I won’t run out of time!!
16:07 Emma Freud was really funny. I gave her my tiara. Part of me is really chuffed that Emma Freud is wearing my tiara that I made myself. Another part of me wishes I had it back!!! What am I like!!!???? Still, I have picked up a tiara off the table to give to Lala. She will love it!!!
That is as far as I got writing on the spot on Friday. So I’m going to end this post now and will write another one about my reflections about the rest of friday or maybe just do it as a summary of the whole rest of the event. Not sure yet!
