I have been feeling so down about my body lately and after our holiday I decided that enough is enough and I have bitten the bullet and joined Weight Watchers (again) – but I’m going to give it my all this time. I went to my first meeting on Tuesday night and started the plan on Wednesday. I’ve done 2 full days and I’m really enjoying it. I’m being more organised and making my lunches the night before – that way I know I’ll have time to make my salads extra nice – today I have a salad (lettuce, cucumber, cherry tomatoes) with olives, some sausage that we brought back from Turkey, finely chopped and some white cheese (bit like feta) also brought back from turkey. With a dressing of olive oil (half a teaspoon) and balsamic vinegar (not measured as is zero points). Ben has been very good in measuring everything for our evening meal and I’m only snacking on fruit. We have free fruit here at work – you have to get in early to get the good stuff, but today I have a banana, an apple (nice fresh green one) and some grapes.

I hate how my middle looks. I hate the trousers I’m wearing but they are comfortable.
After the meeting on Tuesday night, I read through all the paperwork. I have set up a Weight Watchers folder in my Evernote account and will store all my stuff in there. I already have a tonne of old recipes in there from when I was doing it before. I just need to go through it and decide what to try out.

My current weight is 13stone 13.5lbs. I’m so glad I wasn’t over 14stone. Although I’m definitely about 2 stone over what I would like to be. Well, it will take time but I’m going to do it this time. I’m fed up of not feeling like me, of feeling frumpy and being unhappy with whatever I wear. I have a wardrobe of clothes that don’t fit me. This weight seems to have crept up on me almost without me noticing.
