Here is my page that explains about #MHMonday and what you need to do to join in: #MHMonday
I have been thinking about creating my own linky for a while as have been joining in with a few and I love it. Its a great way to meet other people in the blogging world and helps to get your blog out there as well as helping other people to do the same.
I wanted to create a linky that is something that I’m passionate about and I came up with this: Mental Health Monday. I’m actually posting this on Tuesday but that’s because it is the first day back to work after the Easter bank holiday and to be quite frank, today feels like a Monday to me (I always struggle with Mondays which perhaps makes it the perfect day to launch this linky).
I’ve suffered from depression from about the age of 15 – I was anorexic around that time and later on indulged in self harming and a lot of my poetry from that time centres around depression so I wanted really to have a chance to shine a spotlight on what it’s like to have depression (not just for me but for others out there who may not feel like they have a voice).
Please do join my linky by clicking on the link below that says “join here” or something and following the instructions to link up your blog post. Oh and don’t forget to link back to this post and copy the code below 🙂
You can see any #MHMonday posts (including the most up to date one) here.
You can see any previous posts that relate to depression here.
Please note, when copying and pasting the code into your post or sidebar, if it doesn’t work properly it could be that WordPress or Blogger, or whatever you are using, is pasting the quotation marks as curly ones rather than straight ones. If the picture is not showing properly, just copy and paste the code again and overtype (or delete and retype) each quotation mark – like this “. Then the picture should show properly. Any problems, let me know.
